Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines how D-lightning GmbH processes, handles, and delivers orders placed through our website or via direct business communication.
All orders are processed and shipped from our location in Neuss, Germany.

2. Processing Times

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

  • In case of delays due to high order volume, supply issues, or logistics constraints, customers will be notified promptly.

3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

D-lightning GmbH ships orders using reliable delivery partners such as DHL, DPD, Hermes, UPS, or similar carriers.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Germany: 2–5 business days

  • EU countries: 3–10 business days

  • Non-EU countries (if applicable): 7–21 business days, depending on customs processing

Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on carrier availability, holidays, or external factors beyond our control.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees depend on:

  • Destination country

  • Package size/weight

  • Selected shipping method

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout or communicated during the ordering process.

5. International Shipping (Optional Section)

If you ship internationally, you can keep this section. If not, I can remove it.

We offer international shipping to selected countries.
Customers are responsible for:

  • Any customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Brokerage fees

  • Local regulations regarding product import

These fees are not included in shipping costs and vary by country.

6. Order Tracking

Once an order is shipped, customers receive a tracking number via email (if tracking is available for the chosen carrier).
Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to update.

7. Undeliverable or Returned Shipments

Shipments returned to D-lightning GmbH due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Failure to collect the package

  • Refusal of delivery

…may incur additional reshipping fees.
Customers will be contacted to arrange reshipment or refund (minus original shipping costs).

8. Damaged or Lost Packages

If a package arrives damaged, incomplete, or does not arrive at all:

  • Contact us immediately at info@d-lightning.com

  • Provide your order number and photos (if applicable)

We will coordinate with the carrier to assess the issue and provide a replacement or refund where appropriate.

9. Changes to Shipping Address

Shipping addresses can be updated only before an order has been shipped.
Once the order has been handed to the carrier, address changes are no longer possible.
